We stayed at Pier South, a hotel along the beach. |
Our room was on the fourth floor and had a bedroom, which Romaine slept in, |
The view of the pier from our balcony at sunset. |

We started with an appetizer of artichoke dip which was most delicious, though we'd never before seen such green artichoke dip. |
After lunch we walked around the beach for a while, then drove around San Diego for a while. |
Then we walked around the town a bit looking for a spot for dinner, |
…and opted to return to the Coronado Brewing Company where we ate lunch, since the food was so good there. |
Romaine had the Turkey Panini with slaw, |
…and I had a truly awesome Greek salad. . |
After dinner we walked a little more, |
