Windy City Live - And Cold
On the evening of Wednesday, January 23, after I'd taught my last piano lesson of the day,
| I was back at Columbus John Glenn "One of Us" International, |  |

| ...to catch a flight to Chicago for a visit with my daughter Claire and her hubby Miguel, |  |
 | ...and to accompany Claire to her interview the following day on the Chicago television show "Windy City Live." (See post from 1/22/2019). |
| I arrived at O'Hare, which was pretty crowded, thought I, for a Wednesday night, |  |
 | ...but then I guess O'Hare is pretty crowded all the time. |
Vigorously declining offers from my daughter and son-in-law to be fetched at the airport, capable and hip sexagenarian that I am,
| ...I headed for the train, |  |
 | ...joining the other evening commuters to the city, |
...and alighting at the Western stop in Wicker Park,
| ...then walking the chilly half mile to Logan Square, |  |
...and my daughter's house, where I was greeted by my (much relieved) daughter,
| ...a warm, cozy fire, |  |
...and my three grand kitties (see post from 11/17/2018, "Cozy House of Cats"),
| ...Siri and Rosie, who were keeping my guest-room bed warm, |  |
 | ...and Queen Sassy, who preferred not to move from her kitty-cubby. |
